  Mad Dog lacrosse was founded in the Summer of 2006 by former collegiate player and coach Bill Duerr. Creating Mad Dog summer lacrosse camps was Bill's way of passing on his passion for the game to young players. That summer, Bill helped to assemble an unbelievable group of college lacrosse players from across the country. At the Sea Girt Army Camp, in Sea Girt, NJ these players gathered to help share their expertise with Mad Dog campers. The players demonstrated their skills, spoke about good habits, stressed teamwork and explained the importance of leadership development to the campers. Armed with an extensive skill set and knowledge of the game, the camp staff helped create a healthy, fun, and up-tempo learning environment where young budding lacrosse players could successfully hone their skills. Now the Mad Dog lacrosse tradition continues with Bill's younger brother, Tom Duerr. Since 2010, Mad Dog has expanded its summer camps across the country to NJ, PA, CT, CA and NH as well as adding clinics and travel teams.
